The SME sector represents a significant avenue for investment growth and is a big part of our economy. Speaker & Panelist: Patrick Linden, Co-Founder of Match.Asia 

Patrick is co-founder and Managing Partner at Match.Asia, a regional M&A platform. Previously, he founded and sold Dealguru Holdings (IPO) as well as Food Runner (Tradesale), two pioneers in the ASEAN e-commerce and online food delivery space. Patrick also founded Deep Green Group, a leading European D2C brand incubator.


Speaker & Panelist: Lau Dong Neng, Group Managing Director at Prestige Fiduciary 

An accountant by training, an entrepreneur by profession. Dong Neng has extensive hands-on experience in management, business leadership and working with Board of Directors and fellow Professionals. He thrives on challenges and love using his technical expertise as a qualified accountant to develop and provide innovative real-world solutions to his clients.

He is a Singapore Chartered Accountant and Accredited Tax Practitioner. Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin and has extensive experience in dealing with Clients from US, Europe and Asia Pacific. He specialises in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, fund administration and related services and has experience with a wide range of fund structures and investment strategies.

He has supported various global business acquisition exercises and business fund raising exercises across many industries and businesses at various stages ranging from small medium enterprises, family owned companies to growth companies.

He has worked alongside many investors including Seed Stage and Series A Venture Capital Funds across Asia, US and Europe for more than 10 years. His multi-disclipinary exposure provides clients with innovative and pragmatic solutions to complex issues.

Currently, Dong Neng is the Group Managing Director of Prestige Fiduciary who are owners and operators of various accounting and corporate advisory brands. He is responsible for developing and strategising the Group’s business initiatives across various brands and business lines. He also leads the Group’s Fund Administration Division and Corporate Advisory Services Division.

Der Shing is an experienced Angel Investor and has invested (with Shao Ning) over USD$5m into 45 startups and 8 VC funds. He also serves on multiple startup boards and volunteers with the Singapore government on the topic of education and startups in various capacities. As the Former CEO and co-founder of JobsCentral Group, Der Shing led the company’s growth from a 2-man startup into a highly profitable regional job portal with over 150 staff in 3 countries.
