AngelCentral members have just syndicated an investment into Atera Water, a technology-driven startup focused on improving access to clean, affordable water through advanced water treatment and purification solutions.

Atera Water is addressing one of Southeast Asia’s most pressing challenges – water scarcity and quality – by developing a new class of ultrafiltration membranes with an affordable nanocomposite polymer and a solvent-free, water-free manufacturing process. Their innovation has reduced membrane costs by up to 70 percent compared to conventional products, while delivering strong mechanical durability and filtration performance.

Its solutions aim to deliver reliable, cost-efficient clean water while reducing environmental impact, aligning strongly with growing regional demand for sustainable infrastructure and essential services.

The syndicate brought together AngelCentral members who share a conviction in backing companies solving real, systemic problems with long-term relevance.
